"Garage Sale Mystery" Hallmark Movies in Chronological Order - Starring Lori Loughlin!

Today, Sleuthers, I am shining a light... uncovering ALL the Garage Sale Mystery Movies made - so far!

Track these details... as you will discover below - the chronological order of the "Garage Sale Mystery" movie series from 2013 (when it first premiered on the Hallmark Channel) to 2017, where it resides in it's home now on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries!

There have been some changes throughout the "Garage Sale Mystery" series, including every member of Jennifer Shannon's (portrayed by Lori Loughlin) family - from her husband, to her children! The role of Jason Shannon, Jennifer's husband, was first played by Rick Ravanello, but since the second movie, that role has been played by Steve Bacic. The daughter Hannah, was also portrayed by another actress in the pilot movie, Sara Canning, however Eva Bourne, after the first film, stepped into that role. Eva also portrays Lori Loughlin's daughter-n-law on "When Calls the Heart". Brendan Meyer starred as the son in the first three movies, up until "Garage Sale Mystery: The Deadly Room". When Brendan became involved in other acting projects, Connor Stanhope (who had also worked with Lori Loughlin on "When Calls the Heart") stepped into the role of Logan Shannon in "Garage Sale Mystery: Guilty Until Proven Innocent".

In addition to these changes, the roll of Police Detective was first portrayed by Andrew Dunbar, (who by the way, dated Hannah in the pilot movie), and will return in "Garage Sale Mystery: Murder Most Medieval" in a different role. The part of detective is now regularly filled by Kevin O'Grady, as the no nonsense - Detective Frank Lynwood.

Although there have been many cast changes, (mostly early on) the heart of the story has remained the same, and one other roll, besides Lori Loughlin's as Jennifer Shannon, has remained a constant, and that is Jennifer's friend and antique shop business partner Dani, played by the always interesting, Sarah Strange.

Movie #1: Garage Sale Mystery (pilot movie)

Premiere Date: September 14, 2013

Storyline via Hallmark: Jennifer Shannon (Loughlin) can always find a diamond in the rough - when it comes to garage sales, that is! Whether it's a new antique to sell at her consignment shop, an Atari game for her son or a piece of furniture for her handy husband Jason (Ravanello) to refurbish, she has made a career out of her treasure hunting prowess. When a string of burglaries hits her town, Jennifer's keen eye for detail and her natural problem solving instincts even help her see the connection between these burglaries and local garage sales! Jennifer works with Detective Adam Iverson (Dunbar) to investigate her theory that the perpetrators of the burglaries are fellow garage sale regulars. The case escalates to dangerous levels when Jennifer discovers the dead body of her friend. Even though the deceased's husband, Ben Douglas (Bancroft), finds nothing missing in their house, and the police label the death as accidental, Jennifer suspects that the death may be related to the burglaries.

With just her treasure hunting skills and problem solving instincts, she finds and pieces together clues to the burglaries and her friend's death. As she gets closer to the truth, however, Jennifer discovers that crime solving can be far more perilous than any garage sale. Can she uncover the "Garage Sale Mystery" before it's too late, or will her investigation create problems that not even Jennifer can solve?

Suicide Squad Review

Panned by critics, praised by fanboys, and breaking box office records, Suicide Squad is yet another divisive film from DC! Wow, now this is one difficult review to write. Walking into the theater without a single notion of the abysmal critical response helped to remove the bias of expecting to tear it apart. In fact, walking to the truck after movie, I was thoroughly entertained and had a great time. But that does not mean I necessarily disagree with the consensus. Honestly, if DC just cannot make quality superhero flicks, a small part of me just wants their movies to fail so hard that it kills the franchise, so as stop oversaturating the superhero genre. Of course, by making so much money regardless of what people say, that is not happening anytime soon. Let's get back to the film itself. If you hate Suicide Squad, that's fine by me; it is completely understandable. In many ways, it does deserve the panning t. DC just cannot get their stuff together no matter how hard they tr...

Top 13 Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Movies: Part 1

Captain America: Civil War blew all our minds last month with an emotionally gripping story of the MCU being split apart. Now it is time to re-rank the Top 13 Marvel Cinematic Universe films yet again. However, to my surprise, my opinions of many of the films have gradually changed over time after re-watching each one, so this list is a bit different than my previous ones, even if there are some similarities.  13: The Incredible Hulk The black sheep of the MCU, The Incredible Hulk has faded into obscurity almost to the point where it is barely considered canon. Sure, it is occasionally referred, but many aspects of the film just do not fit with the rest of the MCU. Part of this is due to Edward Norton not returning in The Avengers, which led to Mark Ruffalo redefining the film version of the Hulk/Banner to astounding success. As for the film itself, The Incredible Hulk is a fun film. Nothing about it is remarkable, but it tells a classic Hulk story of Banner running from them ...
